WINERY - DISTILLERY
Our privately owned vineyards are located in the area of Pyli, with the first plantings taking place in 1985. The good soil and climate conditions of the area combined with the low yield per hectare enable us to produce wines of excellent quality.
In the copper soils of Pyli, the famous varieties of the European vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot and Syrah stood out beautifully. He also began a persistent and time-consuming process of reviving some local forgotten varieties. So today many of them such as Bandiki, Senjo, Granoire etc. they are grown in our vines and give our wines the ancestral taste of good old wine.
As for the wine category, we also have single varietal wines, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Agiorgitiko. They are all aged in oak barrels for 12-16 months. An important feature of our products is the way they are available. Most of it is done on a personal basis because we believe that the customer's acquaintance and communication with the producer guarantee control and continuous improvement of quality.
Traditional Tsipouro.
The Cellar
The cellar is an underground space where the wine preservation conditions are ideal. Here we vinify each variety in a traditional way, trying to keep its taste characteristics unchanged.
The cellar has a tasting room where you can taste the wines and spirits of our winery, as well as an exhibition of traditional local products.
Visit
Visits are made by telephone appointment, while they can be well combined with excursions to all the mountain villages of Trikala Prefecture (Elati – Pertouli – Neraidochori). You can also visit the Sacred Rocks of Meteora 40 km or the beautiful Lake Plastira 25 km. For visits of large groups or schools by arrangement. Communication can be done in Greek and English.
